As a design consultant Katy offered clients the benefit of her 20 years of creativity and specialist glass and crystal skills, manufacturing knowledge and extensive experience in market positioning, prototyping and product development. Katy enjoyed working closely with manufacturers to develop production processes that enabled her to consistently produce innovative and interesting designs. In more recent years she applied these skills and knowledge to other craft production processes and materials, including ceramics, pewter and other metals, wood, bamboo, laquerware etc. She worked with a wide election of clients, including Czech and Speake, Wedgwood, LivingEtc, Sainsbury’s, Perrier Jouet Champagne, Greenapple Furniture, Crabtree and Evelyn, working in the luxury market and mainstream sectors and having work produced globally, winning design awards for several of her elegant contemporary designs.
